Josh Brinkman has been a sound engineer and designer since becoming a stage management intern at his local civic theatre during high school. His love for theater began at a young age, acting in over 20 productions throughout middle and early high school. His most recent designs at Ball State have included The Prozorovs, The Children’s Hour, Tenants, Masters and Visionaries, and The Reals. He has designed two musicals at Muncie Civic Theatre, Sister Act and Matilda. Over the past two summers he has worked at the Idaho Shakespeare Festival, first as the sound intern and most recently as a sound engineer during the summer 2021 season. Shows at ISF include Witness for the Prosecution, The Music Man, Sleuth, and The Tempest.
